Our story
It started with two chairs
Danny Okafor opened GentsLook in 2017 with two second-hand chairs and a loyal following from fourteen years of cutting hair in other people’s shops. He wanted a place with no queue on the pavement, where a man could say what he wanted without feeling daft.
Today GentsLook is four barbers and a grooming therapist in an old cutlery workshop on Cutler Row. We stay small on purpose, so your barber remembers how you like it and you’re never handed to whoever happens to be free.
